Position Summary:

The Senior Associate, Digital marketing role is an experienced and vital member of the CE Innovation & Transformation team. The individual executes channel communications strategies, plans and programs in support of EY’s purpose, brand and business goals, working closely with EY’s CE leadership. The Senior Associate also develops real-time and planned content, is an internal advocate for digital channels such as web, social media, and email, and also manages various collaborative content repositories directly.

The role requires an experienced, organized, proactive, energetic, detail-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of strategic planning and practical execution. The individual will have the experience and positive attitude to take on challenges, manage multiple projects at once and manage and sell ideas to a diverse group of senior business stakeholders and brand, marketing and communications colleagues alike.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Implement webcast social media and content sharing strategy and programs, lead social media planning and run and manage social channels working directly with and supporting the team

  • Work closely with global stakeholders and internal teams to develop an editorial strategy for innovation and transformation projects and work with the team to build content designed to grow and activate communities

  • Effectively create, plan, curate, and manage all content (images, video and written) to reach desired audiences using various internal and external channels

  • Manage targeted audience lists and markets

  • Lead by example, taking a positive attitude at all times, embracing opportunities, working collaboratively and swiftly, and ensuring that senior management and team are kept abreast of issues/concerns.

  • Monitor, listen and respond to communities

  • Develop and expand social communities and all social efforts related to Innovation & Transformation

  • Support stakeholders and colleagues with design and creation of compelling content, taking the lead on the creation where possible

  • Employ best practices for measuring the impact of digital campaigns.

  • Interact with marketing teams and stakeholders

  • Develop strong relationship with business stakeholders and brand, marketing and communications team to ultimately be considered a valued extended member of various teams

  • Work across time zones and communicate regularly with the EY BMC network, to inform of upcoming initiatives

  • Communicate clearly and effectively across all deliverables, including stakeholder communications and measurement and status reports

  • Continually act as an ambassador for BMC across all internal and external engagements

Knowledge, Competency and Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to advise on digital media technologies and data-driven insights

  • Drive to promote innovation in the digital content space and to sell ideas internally

  • Outstanding organizational skills and the able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

  • Ability to produce excellent, quick, clean and engaging copy under pressure

  • Sub-editing/proof reading skills and ability to work to a style and brand guide

  • Experience writing for web and social on mainstream channels

  • Familiarity with Boolean search

  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their respective participants and deployment.

  • An energetic, self-starter with a hands-on approach, able to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities, with a positive attitude and ability to generate results; demonstrate the potential to develop within the organization

  • A strong team player and lateral thinker, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently

  • Experience in advising, managing and communicating with senior leadership on a day-to-day basis

  • Commitment to delivering quality output while working under pressure and appreciation for deadlines

  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity

  • Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing situations

Other requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and virtually

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5-7 years’ experience in the B2B digital marketing and analytics

  • People management experience

  • Proven ability to manage complex processes and/or projects at a global level

  • Outstanding written and oral communications

  • Strong digital media execution skills

  • Experience managing internal support networks

  • Experience working with a global brand
