You’ll be at various lives projects in different industry sectors in which EY is acknowledged as a market leader:

financial services, energy and utilities, oil and gas, telecommunications, industrial products, automotive, retail

Your key responsibilities

You’ll be involved at many stages of the project life cycle, making this a high-profile opportunity to take on

a wide range of responsibilities and diversify your skills and experience. It’s all about translating information

from a variety of sources into quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform and advise our clients. That will

include building relationships with clients in a spectrum of industries and getting to know their unique needs and

aspirations to provide tailored global services.

Skills and attributes for success:

• Consulting and helping clients on complex issues

• Collaborating with other colleagues and clients to give inputs, influence, helping, balancing risks and client

expectations

• Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve our products and processes

• Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to

develop junior colleagues

• Understanding our clients unique ambitions and needs and referring them to colleagues in the other team and

areas to broaden our business relationships where possible

To qualify for the role you must have

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Management or another relevant discipline

• A minimum of 5 years of significant work experience in programs and public policies, with recourse to evaluation

techniques and methodologies

• Work experience and/or knowledge of support mechanisms for structural funds in Portugal

• Work experience and/or knowledge of support programs sponsored directly by the EU

• Fluent written and verbal communication skills both in Portuguese and English, as well as team coordination ability

• Computer and software proficiency

• Willingness to travel, in Portugal or abroad
