We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Leaderto join our growing team, workingwith the Tax leadership to drive our Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) business development and revenue growth agenda. You will work as a close part of our area GCR team across Asia Pacific (APAC), with centres in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney and teaming with our global offices. With a focus on pursuits and pipeline, campaigns, revenue growth, brand and business development excellence, this role is for an expert who can drive and deliver market growth opportunities The preferred base locations for this role are Sydney, Singapore, or Hong Kong.

About the opportunity

  • Work closely with leadership to identify the market and actively drive pipeline activity across the Area

  • Co-own the GCR pipeline and execute growth programs across the Area

  • Work with account teams and business development resources on key targets

  • Facilitate and drive client insight sessions

  • Conduct and facilitate EY and client workshops

  • Drive client pursuit activity

  • Support account team on pursuit strategy

  • Where relevant, act in pursuit lead capacity

  • Support account team and broader pursuits team with proposal development

  • Support account team with verbal and live presentation planning and preparation

  • Support account team and lead negotiations

  • Support and drive GCR branding and reputation initiatives through APAC, including co-development of branding and reputation initiatives alongside business development campaigns

  • Work closely with the GCR community, including other Area GCR BD Leaders

About you

  • Significant (10+ years) business development experience in the professional services and solutions arena

  • 5+ years of business development management experience in the professional services and solutions arena

  • A proven record for selling or facilitating selling of complex services and solutions to major international companies

  • Solution-oriented, clear and strategic thinker in both market identification and account approach

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills - comfortable to work across borders with a wide network of people

  • Ability to influence key decision makers internally and externally

  • Mandarin language skills advantageous

  • Willingness to travel
