A Bid Manager acts as the project leader in bids, executing the process to develop an opportunity into a won contract. He/she is responsible for work with the pursuit team in delivering the full proposition to the customer within the time, budget, resource constraints and guidance given through the EY management.
Your key responsibilities
Bid process management
Coordinate & structure the bid response process and manage the bid team (financial architect, solution manager & architect, contract manager, risk manager, legal & compliance) from beginning of Sales pursuit until the handover to the Transition / Delivery team
Analyze customer needs, RFP requirements and develop specific bid proposals:
Ensure the development of high-quality proposal documents and customer presentations
Participation in customer presentations and negotiations
Act as project leader for the administrative process of sales pursuit:
Manage the bid budget
Ensure that all proposals adhere to process and meet required standards
Accompany the bid through key milestones such as organize meetings, prepare documents, align internal stakeholder etc.
Conduct Win workshops and win loss review sessions

To qualify for the role, you must have
A Bachelor’s degree is required
A minimum of ten years IT industry experience, of which at least three years was spent leading a team
Prior Project Management experience is essential
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to provide leadership and guidance to less experienced personnel
Able to work to tight timescales particularly when developing proposals
Able to influence assertively to get results
