The opportunity

Our team focuses on IT transformation and integration activity concentrated specifically on the Pega 7.x PRPC BPM software . You will work collaboratively with our clients to build Pega centric BPM solutions, leveraging Pega’s BPM/workflow technology. We team with our clients to plan and implement technology solutions, IT processes, and governance models using the Pega 7.x PRPC technology. Additionally we assist and advise on the execution of IT integrations revolving around the Pega technology.

Your key responsibilities

You will support EY’s Automation delivery team in defining client requirements related to their Pega 7.x BPM implementations, developing technology solutions using the Pega 7.x BPM software platform, Leading teams of BPM specialists focusing on the Pega 7.x BPM software platform, enabling clients, ensuring delivery quality , and other related activities in the practice.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Manage a team of Pega developers who specialize in the configuration of Pegasystems 7.x BPM software

  • Configure systems as a Pega developer using Pegasystems 7.x BPM software, leveraging Pega frameworks and recommended configuration principles.

  • Run multiple DCO sessions using Pega’s specialized agile methodology tools and best practices

  • Maintain the development backlog and defect resolution ensuring a high level of quality and adherance to guardrails.

  • Unit test development work to verify that requirements are being satisfied

To qualify for the role you must have

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management or a related field.

  • A minimum of 5 years of post-bachelor's work experience; at least five (5) years of which must be relevant work experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services

  • 5 years of experience building Pega 7.x BPM software systems

  • Pega CSA, CSSA, CLSA (tests 1 and 2 passed) and CBA certification in version 7.0 or greater

  • Deep knowledge of all the major Pega 7.x frameworks (apps)

  • Flexible and willing to travel as well as work in excess of standard hours when necessary.

  • The ability and willingness to travel up to 100%

  • A valid driver’s license due to travel requirements

  • Proficient in the English language, including the ability to listen, understand, read and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in a professional environment

  • Proficient with MS Office, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, Visio

  • Willing and able to learn and work independently with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Effective organization and time management skills with ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines

  • Integrity within a professional environment
