In support of this vision, this leadership role will see you partner with the Strategy and Transactions (SaT) Knowledge leader and stakeholders to deliver an agreed set of content, community and culture programs to support this service line’s highest priorities. In understanding SaT’s business priorities, you will lead efforts that bring to life the collective global experiences, expertise and intellectual property that will fuel their success.
This is a leadership role that will see you build strong relationships with senior internal SaT stakeholders and convert their business priorities into an integrated knowledge plan that you and your team will deliver on. You will motivate and empower your team to deliver high quality outcomes and be accountable for driving end-to-end delivery of knowledge management products and services aligned to EY’s global standards and methods. Your team’s efforts will play a critical role in enabling EY’s client-facing practitioners to use data, knowledge and collective intelligence to both win and deliver work in this sector.
Your key responsibilities:
You will work closely with the Knowledge Leader to define and deliver the knowledge management priorities aligned to business priorities as set out in the integrated plan
Leading the delivery of end-to-end knowledge management products and services aligned to knowledge management expectations and functional KPIs
Developing and managing knowledge management projects and agreed knowledge manager capacity per the integrated plan with high performance excellence; coaching and empowering your team and calibrating for changing priorities and resource needs
Actively looking for and driving opportunities to work more effectively across domains with your peers to be collectively agile and support optimal delivery to the business
Developing strong, trusted advisor stakeholder relationships that demonstrate a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset; developing and maintaining relationship plans
Developing strong, collaborative relationships with our business partners (BMC, L&D, Talent, QRM, Markets, and others) to deliver on the integrated knowledge plan
Skills and attributes for success:
You’ll be a seasoned knowledge manager able to deal with ambiguous situations to achieve clarity and create a road map to drive the agenda forward. You’ll have strong influencing capabilities and be able to communicate confidently with a diverse group of audiences. You’ll be able to demonstrate strong project management skills, execution rigor, and be skilled at identifying and promoting examples of high-value, impactful projects. You will be an inspiring team leader having already managed, mentored or coached a team of knowledge managers.
To qualify for the role, you must:
Be instinctively collaborative, persuasive, and innovative whilst being able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders in a consultative manner
Be able to convincingly present the value proposition for knowledge as a key contributor to business outcomes and be able to prove impact.
Be able to demonstrate exceptional program and project management skills
Be skilled at identifying data driven actions underpinned by a strategic and commercial mindset.
Possess proven team leadership, team management skills, and be able to provide an inspiring coaching experience to team members
Have relevant knowledge management experience and an innovative, can-do mindset to deliver creative solutions to business priorities and challenges
Have exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ideally, you’ll also have:
A willingness to streamline, simplify and be a change agent, challenging existing ways of delivering knowledge management
Understand and/or have experience of the Strategy and/or Transactions businesses
