Dynamics Finance and Operations Sales Engineer

You’ll be responsible for technical pre-sales of Dynamics 365Finance & Operations and Power BIsolutions to enterprise businesses.
Your key responsibilities
You will focus on the design, customization and optimization of Digital and Cloud-based solutions. You will team with various EY groups with digital capabilities to pursue and deliver digital engagements and solutions that will bring our clients’ digital vision and strategy to life.
As a technical pre-sales consultant, you’ll develop sales strategies with our sales and delivery teams to sellandmarket Dynamics 365Finance & Operations and Power BIsolutions to enterprise businesses. This will primarily involve client discovery, solution design, solution build, and presenting software demonstrations.
Skills and attributes for success
Assist PPEDs, Senior Managers, and Client Executives with identifying client requirements and a sales strategy
Create customized MicrosoftDynamics 365Finance & Operations and Power BI demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
Lead software demonstrations, design thinking sessions, and end-user workshops to technical and business decision makers
Answer business strategy, technical, and platform questions
Manage and maintain a shared technology solutions library
Build relationships within EY and external partners to position our capabilities and solutions in the marketplace
Team with client technology professionals and third-party strategic alliances
Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally
Interact and communicate effectively with teammates, clients, stakeholders, and executives
To qualify for the role you must have
Experience configuring or administering ERP Solutions (preferably cloud and Dynamics F&O: knowledge of AX, GP, NAV, and NetSuite also acceptable)
Experience with business intelligence tools (preferably Microsoft Power BI)
Bachelor's degree and three or more years of related work experience
Excellent communication, leadership and client development skills
Engineering mindset with the ability to take requirements, design a solution around a process, and build with a set of tools
Creative presentation skills and solid storytelling abilities
Must be able to establish credibility with C-level executives
Problem solver that enjoys working collaboratively in a team environment
Technically comfortable with web-based applications and relational data
Ability to learn technical areas of software related to sales quickly
Self-starter and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities
Highly motivated and dependable
Ongoing product training will be provided. Microsoft certifications will be required once hired.
Up to 30% out-of-town travel required for this job
Ideally, you’ll also have
Knowledge of finance and accounting rules, standard process controls, consolidation reporting, project accounting
Experience in ERP Project Delivery for Full LifeCycle Implementations (preferably Dynamics F&O, AX, GP, NAV)
Experience configuring or administering Dynamics ERP Solutions, preferably Dynamics F&O
