The opportunity

We work on the most complex and high profile global transactions in the financial services sector. You will prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify ideas and sources of value enhancement, as well as advise on risk mitigation and the successful change of operations, functions and people. Your key responsibilities

As a Manager in the Deal Strategy & Management - Financial Services group, you will be a vital member of the team managing and executing operational focused projects. You'll execute and manage projects supporting our client service team in developing and executing strategies for transactions. Part of your role will also involve developing experience across a range of different type of engagements including pre and post deal phases.

To qualify for the role you musthave

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance,Engineering, or Information Technology and 5 years of related workexperience; or a graduate degree and approximately 4 years of related workexperience.

  • MBA is preferred.

  • Experience in a consulting environment working withfinancial services clients, including banking, capital markets, assetmanagement and/or insurance.

  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence totranslate complex data into meaningful insights.

  • Experience leading and managing in complex businessenvironments.

  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects andthe skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and theability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally andexternally.

  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 80% on shortnotice.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A proven record of excellence in a merger integration,acquisitions, divestitures, carve outs.

  • Experience gained within another large professionalservices organization.

  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
