The EMEIA Tax Centre (ETC) is a part of Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR)specializing in delivery of integrated solutions across the Regions and Sub-service lines, as demanded by our global clients in the rapidly changing tax environment.

EY’s EMEIA Tax Centre (ETC) are looking for tax accounting professionals to join our fast growing GCR team. The role will give you the opportunity to work on EY’s largest multi-country client engagements in a tax accounting and direct tax capacity.
We are seeking for a Senior Specialist to join the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Poland tosupport our Global Clients in :
Group Tax Accounting process including periodically group tax provision calculation for our clients, cooperation with our local team mainly across EMEA region (sometimes extended to Asia Pacific and Latin America areas) using advanced technologies.
Direct Tax (CIT) compliance process including such activities as standardisation and centralisation of current existing processes, closely working and coordinating compliance process with our EY local offices, preparing the Tax analyse reporting to our Central clients and tax/financials transformations of our Global Clients.
We are looking for candidates with:
Corporate Income Tax experience (any country)
2-4 years of experience in tax and/or accounting practices
Knowledge of the deferred tax concept
Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS tax accounting principles would be an advantage;
Fluent English; knowledge of other foreign languages is an asset;
Very good knowledge of Excel;
Higher education - master degree in tax law or finance and accountancy;
Very good work organization, initiative and commitment;
An ability to work in a global international team and ease in building contacts and networking;
An ability to distill complex concepts into simple messages;
Willing to travel
Strong analytical, problem solving skills and attention to detail
A desire to use technology to improve the way in which clients and EY teams operate their processes and manage data
A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work
