The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a manager to participate in HR Mergers and Acquisitions - financial, operational, tax mergers and acquisitions due diligence analysis focused on US and global transactions. Producing HR due diligence reports (both buy-side and sell-side) especially for divestitures.

Your key responsibilities

You will work on multiple reward projects. In this role, you will be required to deliver quality client service, provide flexible and innovative reward solutions and balance multiple priorities. You will also be expected to have excellent communication skills, integrate into and lead new teams, and rapidly establish relationships. Specifically, you should contribute to generating profitable revenue through identifying follow-on engagement opportunities and developing lasting relationships with clients. You should also demonstrate relevant technical skills in designing and delivering reward solutions and understand global and local reward trends.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experience with HR aspects of mergers/acquisitions

  • Have financial Due Diligence and Transactions experience thorough the full life cycle of an acquisition

  • Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns

  • Take a practical approach to solving issues and gaining client agreement

  • Contribute to business development and client pursuit activities by preparing proposals and delivering presentations for potential clients

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • A bachelor's degree and around five years of related experience

  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to advise, challenge and influence clients

  • Project management experience, planning, budget management, and reporting

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Willingness to travel as needed, and working in a balanced hybrid environment

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience in one or more areas of: reward, benefits, compensation, or talent

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $124,700 to $228,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $149,700 to $260,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
