With over $4 billion of revenue, EY’s Government and Real Estate (GRE) Market Industry business is growing fast. The GRE knowledge team, comprised of 25+ highly motivated analysts and knowledge managers, works daily to support the growth of the GRE business by developing high level insights, data driven analytical pieces, thought leadership and go to market materials.

The opportunity

EY’s GRE Knowledge team wishes to hire a Senior Analyst to work as part of a team that focuses on helping GRE internal practitioners win and deliver in the market by providing them with right insights at the right time. We do this by providing data driven analysis, game changing insights and points of view, and presenting those internally and in various external events and venues.

In this unique role, you will work on understanding complex projects, and have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders through internal client engagement and management, persuasive and technical writing, and financial/economic analysis.

Your key responsibilities

Drawing on knowledge gained from your education and experience in industry, you will develop detailed economic analyses, points of view, insights focused on helping our clients win in the market. You will work with the Market Industry Knowledge Leader to engage with our internal clients to understand their needs, priorities and drivers, and analyze complex information to develop comprehensive documents for application to various government departments. Working in high performing teams, you will prepare detailed work papers and reports to help deliver exceptional results to EY’s clients.

To qualify for the role you must have

• Drive to provide excellent service to clients and build a better working world

• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills

• Undergraduate and/or postgraduate qualifications in either of:

o Economics

o Engineering/Science – Data Science

o Journalism

o Business

Ideally, you’ll also have

• An interest in project development, economic evaluation and commercial decision-making

• Report writing/insights development experience

• Experience working in government departments, especially governmental advisory roles
