EY Global Deliver Services is operating in Poland since 2011 and it all started with opening the Finance and Accounting service line. We started with a small team and over the years, more and more services are being developed. Now, we are supporting EY offices all over the globe in processes like Accounts Payable, Time & Expense, Account Receivable, Billing, General Ledger.

We are interested in hiring a leader and team player with strong communication and analytical skills as well as improvement oriented mindset. The Supervisor leads a team that provides F&A shared services operations support in accordance with the established policies, procedures and service level agreements. This position supervises service delivery in respect of specific F&A functions support and manages a team with up to 10+ staff.

In your responsibilities of Supervisor you will:

  • Schedule and monitor the day-to-day activities for their team in accordance with established policies, procedures and service level agreements

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the functional process

  • Review work product and deliverables (including reporting) as necessary to ensure service levels and quality standards are consistently met by the team

  • Conduct quality checks and/or review the work of team members to provide appropriate feedback on performance

  • Oversee team staffing, scheduling, holiday & vacation management

  • Participate in the staff recruitment process

  • Train, develop and motivate team members, provide guidance, direction and evaluation of team members

  • Challenge existing processes and approaches and provides innovative suggestions

  • Implement opportunities that improve operational efficiency, effectiveness, internal controls, and/or customer service

  • Ensure process documents are reviewed and updated on a regular basis

  • Serve as the escalation point for functional issues, work with Subarea Manager, Customers or others to resolve those issues

  • Participate in leadership meetings and/or customer calls to share feedback and operational results

  • Participate on service transitions projects as needed

  • Participate in GDS initiatives and other projects as assigned

The best candidate will have below Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Share Service environment including at least 2 year of supervisory or team leading experience

  • University graduate preferably with a degree in Finance & Accounting discipline

  • Strong spoken and written in both English and Italian

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated supervisory skills such as teambuilding, training/coaching, providing constructive feedback to staff, effective delegation, staffing and scheduling

  • Good organization, analytical and problem solving skills with a logical flow of thought and process orientation

  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer orientation with positive outlook, open, honest and ethical approach

  • Flexible and dependable, so willing to adjust work schedule as necessary to meet peak demands and customer requirements

  • Proficiency with firm standard technology such as MS Office: Windows, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and excellent knowledge of MS Excel
