EY GDS is proud to announce establishing a new team in its GDS Poland center in Wroclaw – Travel Center Team for internal employees in Wroclaw and Warsaw. The goal of the Travel Center is to guarantee our local employees satisfaction and compliance with EY Travel policy. The Travel Center will hire one person with sound travel, administration or customer service experience, whose daily support will be highly beneficial in mitigating travel risks, improving travel policy compliance and generating travel savings.

The opportunity

With developing the Travel Center for internal employees, we are looking for a person with solid travel, administration or customer service experience. You can expect a day-to-day exposure to a global working environment and the support of experts both from travel arrangement field, and global administration team.

Your key responsibilities

The main focus of your role would be fulfilling our global travel arrangement strategy in terms of choosing the best fit in-policy travel solutions for your internal customers, as well as discussing and booking the best solutions. Apart from the travel-related duties, you will have an influence on the relationship with the client and contribute to the global travel arrangement strategy. No travels will be required for this role.

S kills and attributes for success

  • You will be responsible for qualifying the nature of travel requests, searching and proposing in-policy solutions per travel requirements

  • You will support EY’s partners by providing relevant travel and policy related information

  • Booking transportation, accommodation and other travel services (via the online booking tool or directly via the travel agency depending on complexity) will be one of your daily duties

  • You will also ensure pre-trip approval of each request

  • Changing or cancelling travel bookings might be needed in some cases

  • You will be obliged to enter required data into the back office system and bring complaints to the right travel vendor

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Proven experience as a travel, administration or customer service agent

  • Excellent communication and soft skills (both oral and written)

  • Reactivity to manage urgent travel needs in a calm and professional manner

  • Ability to easily adapt to changing business requirements

  • Proactive attitude in terms of sharing ideas for further process improvement

  • Strong focus on details and the policy objectives

  • Fluency in Polish and English

You should be able to work independently as well as in the team and remain effective in case of an urgent travel need. You should share proactively new ideas and solution for process improvement.
