We are looking for a Business Manager to support our Business Management team based in Zurich.The Business Management Team works directly for the Service Line Leader. The Team is responsible for the day-to-day activities such as executive support, communication, financial management and planning, reporting, people agenda, resource management, senior management deliverables and presentations, as well as drive and management of strategic projects and initiatives

Responsibilities :

  • You act as the right hand of the Service Line Leader

  • You assist the Service Line Leader in facilitating effective decision-making

  • You are responsible to prepare and drive regular leadership meetings

  • You support the MIS reporting processes and communication

  • You help to increase OPEX (e.g. process optimization, cost management, drive efficiency)

  • You provide the content and the organization of strategic initiatives such as creating and coordinating senior management deliverables

  • You support within the Business Management Team the operational and financial development of the SL

  • You have the opportunity to help shaping the long-term direction of the SL by leading key initiatives

  • You drive, plan and organize events (e.g. Town Halls, Offsite Meetings, etc.)

  • You support and deputize the resource management process and tasks

Your Offering:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in similar roles with relevant exposure (leading financial services institution, strategy consulting; is an asset.)

  • Graduate degree in business, economics or related managerial disciplines (Bachelor Uni / FH)

  • Excellent senior stakeholder management and problem solving skills; comfortable working in dynamic environments with changing priorities

  • Good analytical and conceptual skills as well as strong story-boarding skills

  • Reliable with high attention to detail, high quality focus and ability to challenge

  • Good project management skills, with flexibility regarding tasks undertaken and the ability to prioritize a number of conflicting demands to meet deadlines

  • Experience with management reporting, data analysis and interpretation (is an asset)

  • Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders both within and beyond the SL

  • Problem solving mindset; enjoys working through challenges, self-starter who takes initiative with a hands-on approach

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – presentation, messaging, and PowerPoint capabilities

  • German and a high standard of written and spoken English is a must
