In response to strong market demand, we are seeking an experienced Manager who can work directly with clients, to help them understand and address the risks associated with the technologies that support their business. This will involve interacting at a senior level with client staff and EY Partners, managing multiple assignments, and leading global teams of EY personnel. You will be stretched to learn about new IT risk areas – sometimes as they evolve, work across a range of different clients in multiple sectors, and deal with complex and demanding issues on a daily basis.

Within EY's Technology Risk practice, the Manager is responsible for managing multiple client engagement teams at an executive level within the practice and the firm. An important part of your role will be actively establishing, maintaining and strengthening internal and external relationships. Engagements focus on the assessment and/or evaluation of IT systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks. You'll also identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY on existing engagements and escalate as appropriate. In line with our commitment to quality, you'll determine that work is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer. As an influential member of the team, you'll help to create a positive learning culture and will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

  • At least 6years of full-time relevant working experience in the IT audit, assuranceand risk field

  • Extensiveexperience planning, implementing and delivering SOX and financialstatement IT audit approaches in global and complex financial servicesorganisations

  • Excellentinterpersonal and communication skills and the ability to demonstrateinitiative and a flexible working style within multi-national teams

  • Experiencedeveloping and maintaining relationships with client management

  • Ability tooperate and network internally across complex organisations, and toactively manage multiple stakeholders

  • Experienceof working on multiple assignments for different stakeholders concurrently

  • Previousexperience managing global delivery teams on multiple Advisory orAssurance assignments

  • Trackrecord of line managing professional services staff, including coachingand developing staff

  • Provenability to build and maintain strong client relationships

  • Previousparticipation in Business Development activities, including working withclients to identify their needs and working on responses to invitations totender issued by clients

  • Experienceof practice development activities, including the development of marketingmaterial, facilitating recruitment, and delivery of training

  • Universitydegree (Bachelor or Master) ideally enhanced by international work / studyexperience in a relevant area

  • CPA, CISA,CEGIT, CRISC, Prince 2, ITIL, CISSP, CISM relevant but not compulsory forthis role

  • Fluent in English and German
